Lakeland Habitat for Humanity provides decent, affordable houses to families in need. Our homeowners gain self-respect as they work alongside volunteers to construct their homes. Since 1990, our ministry has built over 100 houses in our community. Help us as we uphold “Shelter from rain, wind and sun is a basic human need.”

A Brush With Kindness

Lakeland Habitat’s A Brush With Kindness seeks to bring volunteers together to live out their faith and values by helping low-income homeowners restore their homes so that they can continue to live in a safe, decent and affordable home. Repairs vary in expense based on the size of the project and the extent of repair work to be done. Sponsorships are $3,000 and we put together enough sponsorships to cover the costs of repairs.

The Perfect Gift

Got that impossible gift to buy for someone’s 50th birthday (30th or Sweet 16)? Going to a party and want to bring a house warming gift to that someone who has everything? Want a gift that you know everyone needs…and we bet no one has the true thing.

Vehicle Donation

Car donations can help a family in your community build a house and the hope of a better life!By donating a car to Habitat’s Cars for Homes™ vehicle donation program, you help your local Habitat for Humanity affiliate build and rehabilitate houses in partnership with families in need of a hand up, not a hand out.
