ReStore Volunteer Opportunities

Sales & Customer Service in Home Supplies ReStore and the Furniture Store. Work with customers to help them with their purchases. Prefect for anyone who enjoys working with the public.

Merchandising – Assist Staff in pricing and stocking donated and new merchandise.

Greeters – Welcome customers to the ReStore and give them directions to the area of their need. Assign a Customer Service Assistant for further assistance needed.

Committee Volunteer Opportunities

Family Selection – This committee reviews applicants for new construction and NRI repairs. Committee members visit families in their homes. They make recommendations to the Board of Directors.

Construction – This committee works with the Construction Supervisor to review best practices and make recommendations to the Board of Directors.

Public Relations/Marketing – This committee works with staff to increase our exposure in the public and to promote the ReStore.

Events Coordinator – Work with staff to plan and executive special events to promote Lakeland Habitat for Humanity’s Mission and participate in fund raising events.
